Drifting carelessly from day to day The fear of death never went away She never knew she'd die that day Now she's gone and it's too late Keep on running Rejecting hope and trust in God But death is coming You're hopeless once you're dead and gone Never again will they see her face They'll watch a demon take her place All the while she screams in pain Her ignorance is all to blame Keep on running Rejecting hope and trust in God But death is coming You're hopeless once you're dead and gone

Beggars depending on the king Professors who say there's no such thing Speakers who tell you "seize the day" Preachers who tell you every soul will... Kneel down Kneeling down, confessing as you Kneel down You'll be kneeling down Lowly, the humble serving Him Those boasting in self and riches So prestigious, all kings and presidents Religious who think they're holy men will... Kneel down Kneeling down, confessing as you Kneel down You'll be kneeling down Hope, forgiveness, and peace, eternal life are yours this day But if you say no, and resist, you're released Freely given to your ways But where will you go? To the left, and the right, we will go The angels ushering away Into darkness and light we will go But not a soul before they say That Jesus Christ is Lord (forever)

Tell Me Why 05:16
Come to a place of honesty Free of boundaries Look in the face of what could be Are you without peace? I see reason And I see beauty Look inside... Tell me why you believe what you believe Don't deny you're need to see the possibility That what you believe just might be a... Line up the facts and let them speak Are you holding On to something false, to something weak? 'Cause someone told you? I see reason And I see beauty Look inside... Tell me why you believe what you believe Don't deny your need to see the possibility That what you believe just might a lie What happens now? What happens now when it crumbles down? Tell me why you believe what you believe Don't deny your need to see the possibility That what you believe just might a lie Now there is the way There is the truth There is the life Right now

Staring down the grave, one feels there's everything to lose Rejection of the God who made you makes it much more true More pain to feel More tears to cry When fate is sealed And it really is goodbye Suffering the loss of blessing on the other side No one wants to face the judgement, hoping just to die More pain to feel More tears to cry When fate is sealed And it really is goodbye There is hope beyond the end No need to feel this loss If you will just put your trust in the risen Son of God No pain to feel No tears to cry When fate is sealed And there are no more goodbye's He's the one and only Love and hope can hold me (if you love me, truly love...)

Mercy 02:53
Everything's wrong and we're told that it's right Light is the darkness and darkness is light The worst of mankind, it just spreads like disease For the sake of our children, we're begging, Lord, please... We cry mercy Fully deserving of wrath in these days We cry mercy If your hand be not stopped then just take us away Perversion and violence continue to rise All that was sacred is now called a lie So much deception so freely embraced Living for pleasure while truth is displaced We cry mercy Fully deserving of wrath in these days We cry mercy If your hand be not stopped then just take us away Please God relieve us Please God don't leave us We cry mercy Fully deserving of wrath in these days We cry mercy If your hand be not stopped then just take us away

He saw you sitting in the darkness all alone With no direction feeling clueless where to go So He approaches and you've nothing good to say So He steps back and lets you go your own way And now some times has passed and there He is again You strangely feel as though you're seeing an old friend But you take pleasure in the way you live your life And you enjoy it even though it's not right You could have lived up in Heaven, where streets are paved with gold Freely given the secrets to mysteries of old You could have been royalty, given purity of soul But you would not believe it, and now your heart grows cold He sees you sitting in the darkness all alone With no direction feeling clueless where to go So He approaches and you've nothing good to say So He steps back and lets you keep on your own way You could have lived up in Heaven, where streets are paved with gold Freely given the secrets to mysteries of old You could have been royalty, given purity of soul But you would not believe it, and now your heart grows cold And now you're seeing what's become of what you wanted This isn't what you wanted This isn't what you want Turn and run away Turn and run away Now you see what you are How you've been so wrong When you give your heart

A day is coming in the end, and I saw you With a threat upon your life This day that's coming in the end, when I saw you Is the day that you will die In temporary pain, you'll feel life letting go As you take your dying breath, let the whole world know... I have loved you for all time Take a stand, it's time to die Don't be afraid of what's to come, I'm right by you This terror's only for a time Look down the barrel of that gun, I'm right by you Don't fear the end of this life In temporary pain, you'll feel life letting go As you take your dying breath, let the whole world know... I have loved you for all time Take a stand, it's time to die I have loved you for all time Take my hand, it's time to die

Nightmare 04:33
Pictures falling off the walls A voice that's calling you Hellish visions all night long And nothing you can do All this activity is your reality You can't save yourself I can almost hear you crying out in tears Suffering in Hell "Please wake me, I must be sleeping This nightmare's taking toll Please tell me I'm only dreaming 'Cause it's torture on my soul" Pictures taken through the years of beings you keep close All the people you hold dear Will leave you all alone Pray to your relative The one you hold so dear Ask all you want for help I can almost hear you crying out in tears Suffering in Hell "Please wake me, I must be sleeping This nightmare's taking toll Please tell me I'm only dreaming 'Cause it's torture on my soul" Cling to your empty life The people all around The picture's painted so clear Beg for mercy The one who'll save you from... Is the one you fear No waking, you won't be sleeping When this nightmare takes it's toll You'll wish you were only dreaming 'Cause it's torture on your soul

Second Death 03:54
Have you ever contemplated what your eyes might see? Ever imagined that the fear you play with is your destiny? What if it's all true? What does it mean for you? Consider all that Jesus stated That Hell is real Think about the nightmare waiting And the pain you'd feel Let your mind be clear Consider your worst fear The last beat of your heart When eternity starts The pain is never over You have one chance, then it's over It doesn't have to be this way He never meant it to be this way Jesus died and your sins were paid He never meant it to be this way Regret, the loss, the torment The pain is never over You had your chance, now it's over

about

Traumatone returns with the third full length release, "Second Death". In what could be considered some of the darkest work in Traumatone's catalogue, "Second Death" immediately grabs the listener's attention with a blood curdling scream as the opening reversed tracks of "The Running Dead" lead into distorted drums and vocals weaving a tale of a deceased woman's unfortunate demise after purposely staying away from confronting the reality of death. After the opening, we are lead into a deep and dark journey through different aspects of death and the afterlife while the lead single "Tell Me Why" challenges us to answer the question why we believe what we believe about these things. With the third time around, "Second Death" stays the course of Traumatone's signature sound of haunting melody and heavy guitars while challenging the listener to face uncomfortable realities.
