The Craving 04:25
Tell me why you feel the need To scratch the wound until it bleeds Make the worst of everything While taking pleasure in hurt it brings But never can begin to say The name that takes it all away A needle in a strong vein Wanting a fix of what causes pain A need for what is harming Insatiably craving the wrong thing Needing hate and feeding pain The arguments come every day A lashing out that you must bring To mask your own deep suffering But never can begin to say The name that takes it all away This is our nature Always chasing all the worst Death to our nature Is the only thing that breaks this curse

Limerence 04:20
In a moment in time I saw her Unaware of what had come my way She walked in and took her place inside my heart to forever stay She'll never be alone 'Cause I could never leave her Like keeping a piece of my soul She's too precious to me Any bit of wasted love Is even worth every bit of pain Her presence always floods my heart like the pouring rain How deep could this love go If it's ever seen We may never know But I can say this with ease...
3.
Eclipse 04:18
A judgement has come Almost blocking the sun But leaving hope ever so slight So I refuse to give up But it's not good enough An army could join this fight But it's hopeless This kingdom will fall I can give it my all But the writing is on the wall There's no stopping the fear Or the pain drawing near There's nowhere that's left to run The end will come Looming in sight And dark as the night It's coming to overtake me No stopping The end is here Taking what you hold dear Now the end is here The spirit will break and the heart will be pierced
4.
Ghost 03:00
On the horizon I see Sights that are haunting me A hillside at night Overlooking city lights I'm chasing a ghost Chasing a memory I'm chasing a ghost But there is nothing left for me I'm wanting to be In places of memory But emptiness waits And my mind just begins to race I'm chasing a ghost Chasing a memory I'm chasing a ghost That's never coming back to me (Goodbye, love) I miss you (Goodbye, love) I need you (Goodbye, love) I still feel you (Goodbye Love) Goodbye
5.
Restraint 03:47
Here it comes, that awful feeling Or maybe that's not right to say Embedded rage that's lying dormant You might be thinking there's no way But push me (and I'll feel it) Push me (and I'll feel it) Pulse is racing, hands are shaking Fighting as control begins to slip away I know what lies below and I hear it call my name Wanting release from being locked away I fear the consequences Who knows the coming pain if I choose to rid myself of all restraint Push me (and I'll feel it) Push me (and I'll feel it) Pulse is racing, hands are shaking Fighting as control begins to slip away I know what lies below and I hear it call my name Wanting release from being locked away I fear the consequences Who knows the coming pain if I choose to rid myself of all restraint Please come to me Be my peace in this time of desperate need Put the beast back to sleep Please come to me Give me peace in this time of desperate need Stop the beast from release I know what lies below and I hear it call my name Wanting release from being locked away I fear the consequences Who knows the coming pain if I choose to rid myself of all restraint

about

Taking from the definition of hereafter, this EP brings life after death for Traumatone after the release of what was declared the final album, 2016's "Death By Culture." In what is the most personal work of the catalog, "Hereafter" emerges from a turbulent time in life to present personal and relatable lyrics that a familiar audience may not be used to. All while maintaining a mix of all of the sonic elements Traumatone is known for. From the nearly complete strip down that begins "Ghost" to what may be the heaviest song of all in the EP's final track, "Restraint," "Hereafter" stands tall as one of Traumatone's finest.
