War 03:26
Something stirs in the world of the unseen Demons gather to prevent what is coming Never resting to imprison a lost soul Endlessly tempting and refusing to let go Something stirs in the world of the unseen Angels gather to ensure what is coming Time has come to deliver a lost soul Crying out and ready to let go For lives of the darkness And lives of the pure Protecting and fighting for more This is a war Ever present and constantly watching Standing guard and maliciously stalking The Spirit pulls as the heart is responding Demons rage, seductively calling For lives of the darkness And lives of the pure Protecting and fighting for more This is a war I declare war

God Help Me 04:08
God help me To keep my heart straight To keep on loving when confronted with intense hate (Anger is rising) God help me To bear resistance To keep proclaiming though nobody wants to listen (Evil is rising, and I pray...) Give me the strength, God Please come lift me up I'm drowning beneath all the waves of rebellion today I feel like giving up Who cares? Let it all fall away The end will come anyway God help me To bear the mocking Help remind me it's just ignorance talking (Anger is rising) God help me To be what you need Living boldly, always showing where the truth leads (Evil is rising, and I pray...) Give me the strength, God Please come lift me up I'm drowning beneath all the waves of rebellion today I feel like giving up Who cares? Let it all fall away The end will come anyway Rest in Me All you need is given today Let it be Just believe there will come a day (Evil is rising, and I pray...) Give me the strength, God Please come lift me up I'm drowning beneath all the waves of rebellion today I feel like giving up Who cares? Let it all fall away The end will come anyway Not giving in, or giving up, not afraid I'll run with endurance and finish the race

Trapped 03:52
Memories haunt me Things I've done Is there any stopping what I've become? Sinking, and wondering If I'm trapped in this life Change is something that I desire But the built-in darkness kills the fire

Evil Within 04:00
So hard to show some love for others So easy to think of just yourself So easy to lash out on another So hard to rather speak well Is there good in your heart? Is there love from the start? Where evil resides And so openly hides If there's good in your heart If there's love from the start Then bring it to light Evil's never ending So hard to contain misplaced desire So easy to look with lustful eyes So easy to make yourself a liar So hard to let the truth rise Is there good in your heart? Is there love from the start? Where evil resides And so openly hides If there's good in your heart If there's love from the start Then bring it to light Evil's never ending So hard to battle through commitment So easy to rather go astray So easy to live a life of sin, it's So hard to rather live in faith Is there good in your heart? Is there love from the start? Where evil resides And so openly hides If there's good in your heart If there's love from the start Then bring it to light Evil's never ending

Loss 04:08
A tragedy has left you broken And to this day you want to question why But every time the voice of God has spoken You close your heart to wait until you die Please don't try to stand alone You simply have no hope You'll be dead at the throne So, in despair, your heart is thickly coated He tried to speak to you, but you don't care Your bitterness has left your faith corroded And now you doubt that He is even there Please don't try to stand alone You simply have no hope You'll be dead at the throne Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are? What can you say to almighty God? Who do you think you are? Please don't try to stand alone You simply have no hope You'll be dead at the throne Please don't try to stand alone You only have one hope Or you're dead at the throne

The pleasure, the high Feeding the sin inside No remorse, nothing to hide Flaunting death with so much pride Hearing the culture making a clamor in it's conceit It never stops to take in ultimate authority Cries in the streets - "come and get me!" Begging to be dead spiritually No one accepting wrong Everybody thinks they're right Sanity seems to be gone Society has lost it's mind Riches and adoration is all that some can see Just wanting to be famous Is there nothing more to be? Cries in the streets - "come and get me!" Begging to be dead spiritually This is the world we live in Corrupted by our hearts And if there's to be fixing That is where it must start So is this what you love? Is this where your heart lies? Then you've no hope above This is the place your spirit dies Cries in the streets - "come and get me!" Begging to be dead spiritually

The End 04:36

about

Traumatone returns with the fourth and possibly final full length release, "Death By Culture". In what could be considered the finest work in Traumatone's catalogue, this album is a brief work of only eight stand out tracks. Two upbeat and hard hitting tracks bookend the album. Beginning with the upbeat and hard hitting "War," and closing out lyrically with one of the heaviest songs in the Traumatone catalogue in title track "Death By Culture". Unique to this album is the very last track "The End" which leaves us with the first and only instrumental on any of Traumatone's releases, signaling that there is nothing left to say. In the lead single, "God Help Me," the lyrical content deals with the difficulties that face believers in Christ in the further falling morality of the world today. With content that takes us from spiritual warfare in the unseen world, to personal struggles of different circumstances, "Death By Culture" is indeed quite possibly Traumatone's masterpiece.
